  • eh my kids love kool -aid. . They might not get it as much as they want to though. I usually use their kool aid pitcher for my lemonade. sucks for them. I don't see where a little bit will hurt your kid at all. they are only kids once . :)

  • There are FAR better alternatives for children than "sugar water!" Try a 50/50 mix of all natural juice and water. Or, just flavored water--my children LOVE the Fruit2O brand and flavors.

  • Kool Aid is horrible for anyone and everyone. There is absolutely nothing beneficial about it. Juice is nothing, but sugar but would STILL be better than Kool Aid.

  • Mine not only didn't have Kool-Aid, but, he didn't even have a "juice box' or pouch until he started t-ball. Mine had milk, oj, or water. And now if I had a little one, they would get breast milk or water. Never any juice or milk and no Kool-aid at all.

  • My kids only drink milk, water, and oj too... Milk or oj with meals and water ANY other time of the day...

  • Yes. It should not be a daily event. If it has to happen, make it a super-duper special thing. LIke a dixie of kool-aid from the neighbor's kool-aid stand.

  • Yes. Just give water or milk. No need for Kool Aid. You can do chocolate milk for a treat.

  • Yes - we don't do kool aid at all. My toddler has 2 cups of milk then water daily, 50/50 juice for a special treat. My older kids don't even get kool aid very often!

  • We buy that sugar free kool aid.. Not sure how much better it is for the kids though

  • The sugar substitutes are as bad for a child as real sugar. I would just give him milk or water. You can give diluted juice for a treat--use the no sugar added kinds!
