Stretching steak?

I have 3 large sirloins that I need to feed 6 people (3 adults, 3 kids). What would be a good recipe to use? (My first thought was steak fajitas, but we just had chicken fajitas 2 days ago)

  • I'd mix a marinade; soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds. chili oil, water; cut the beef into thin strips and marinate for an hour of two. Cook quickly, then serve over rice. Sort of a "sesame beef." My kids like this.

  • I would still go with fajitas! OR you could do a stir fry maybe...

  • Green Pepper Steak. Use onions and green peppers in a stir fry with soy sauce thickened with cornstarch and add black pepper to taste. Serve with brown or white rice and a salad.

  • 3 large steaks? If you use the ideas from the ladies here .... stroganoff, stir fry, and stk/bake potato soup - you can get three meals out of those steaks!!
