  • Single mom's don't have husbands to deal with! Before I met my SO, I swear my life was easier... I don't cry often just when i'm PMSing and watching a sad, or overly happy movie.

  • I cried more out of stress when I was a single mom than i do now that I'm remarried and have another child. Having my hubs there to talk to and help me find solutions to my/our problems is so helpful. I'd say I only cry over life stress about 3-4 times a year versus 3-4 times a month while on my own.

  • It takes a lot for me to cry. Stress doesn't make me cry, just sad things like when my grandma died.

  • Single moms have it hard, just as single dads do. However, I think the stress doesn't come from whether you're married or single. The stress comes from the child. For the first year of my son's life and a few months into my daughter's I had little to no help from my husband. However, it wasn't painstakenly hard. It was frustrating at times, tiring, and definately stressful at times. However, overall it was simple, because my kids are easy kids. They are good kids.

So it depends on the child you're raising. Yes single moms/dads do everything. .. But not all marriages are a team partnership in raising the kids either.

  • Forgot to add .. In raising my kids I cry most when I'm pregnant or on my period, because emotions are high. On the times I'm not doing/on either ... Then I rarely cry. My kids are easy.

  • I don't cry often, although sometimes I want to hide for a few minutes, lol! Don't be so sure that married women cry less. Those men can make you pretty miserable sometimes, even though we love them!
