Even if you're totally done having kids, do you still talk baby names?

I have my two boys, and I may or may not have more kids in the future. Right now I only want the two I have. But I am always thinking of baby names. Like if I ever have a girl, or if I have a third or fourth boy. Twin girl names. Stuff like that. I don't at all plan to have as many kids as I have names picked out hahaha, but I love thinking about names for possible future babies, or just in general.

  • I have done that since I was in Jr High. I have one son that is 14 and I still do it. I buy and still read baby name books. I love names and have a passion for them. I will pick up a baby name to just read and occupy myself.

  • No. We had our last baby five years ago and we know we're done. No possibility of another. There are names I like and would use for a pet or something. A couple of days ago, we ran into a mom who had two girls with the names we were going to use if our two boys had been girls. That was a little strange.

  • I knew I would never have the kids to fill out all the names I liked so I went for adding another middle name and using one of the names as a nickname.
We don't talk names or anything but we do talk about the ones we liked that the other hated when I was pregnant.

  • yes! I have 3 and I am D-O-N-E! But I had such a pretty name picked out for my son if he would've been a girl: Emmelyn Grace (pronounced Emma Lynn)....sometimes I still think of other boys names too....maybe I can pawn them off on my future grandbabies...LOL
