Thats it, me and DH decided to get our GED together...

I cannot live broke any more, or live off welfare all my life, what am i gonna do when my kids get hs and bring homework home and ask for help? im not gonna be able to help them bc i dident get a education my self...

we are going to Michigan works soon as our car is fixed, iv never planned on liveing like this, I really wanna go to design school for like makeing stuff, or beauty school!

my Dh wants to work with computers or cell phones when we are done with our ged's.

did any one get their ged's? was it hard?

  • if you are in michigan works you can get GED prep and test taking for free

    did you apply for cash assistance? if you do and you are unemployed you will be required to go there anyways

  • yes i do, and i know. They have actual classes where i live that help u learn everything u need to know!

  • its just something small lol our car key broke off and it was our only one! dh is fixing it now

  • I graduated high school and was about to pop with my first baby when I graduated.

    I've had a few friend who have attempted to get their GED, very few have actually done it, but that's only because they didn't try and didn't continue going to the classes.

    I'm proud of y'all for making this decision. Good for y'all. I hope you both succeed.
