rhubarb sauce

I put a bunch of rhubarb and s bunch of overripe strawberries, in the slowcooker this morning with a dash of water and a huge sprinkle of sugar, and I heard of adding jello to the mix at the end of cooking, is this right?? I kinda made it up as I went, but that is how I always cook. Is there anything else I should add or do to it?

  • Don't ruin real food with a box of jell-o. barf!

A little corn starch and cool water slurry will thicken it up if you want a thicker sauce.
