  • BradenIsMySon... Your 5-8 year old stays home ALONE?? (The question is posted children ages 5-8)
Most of the people I know that have 5-8 year old and work rely on daycares or babysitters.

  • If they are between the ages of 5-8, put them in city run day camps. I did that for years with my kiddos

  • Mine stay in an in-home daycare 4days a week while We work. They also spend time at Grandparents houses for a change of pace. Usually a week or two with one and a few days with the other.

  • My husband works in schools so he will usually have the summer off. In the future, when she is old and in school, I'm not too sure! She goes to daycare now, so we will probably find some kind of summer camp program or something.

  • My son is at a summer camp through a daycare. They go swimming and take field trips through out the summer. This Friday they are hosting a talent show.

  • Me and my husband work on different days so one of us is always home. He works days M-F and I work Fri-Sun 12 hour nights. It works great!
