  • Not at all unless it was a big newborn outfit. He was over nine pounds.

  • my son is longggg. dad is tall. baby is now 9 weeks and none of the newnorn clothes fit now - BUT the 3mos are big and loose. yes - you need newborn - bc you will have a newborn, lol. :)

  • Yep, about a week. Just get a couple of those baby bags/ make diaper change time so much easier. Make sure they are long sleeved and have the hand covers at the end because the baby will scratch his/her face for about a month if their hands aren't covered.

  • OP here- thanks. My daughter is about 4 weeks old now and most of her NB clothes are getting too short. My son was so small and wore NB well into his 3rd or 4th month so I was just curious what the average time a baby wears that size. Her 3 month clothes are huge on her so we're kinda stuck between sizes right now lol

  • when both of mine were born they were in preemie size..... for about 3 weeks then completely skipped the NB size and went to sixe 3m ...

  • never my daughter was 9 pounds! i had to take them all back it was sad!! she is 4 months old and in 6-9 month clothes!
