What to get someone as a wedding gift...

I have an older sister who is getting married for the second time in August; so her boyfriend and her already have everything they could need. They are also in their forties, so I don't know what they like, except to drink, and all her kids are grown.
So I was thinking a gift card in a nice card.

  • Are they registered? If they are please get what they asked for. When I got married I registered and didn't get many things off of it. People got me what they wanted. Only reason I wasn't really pissed about it is because we got $6000 in our wishing well.

  • Well people do get what they can afford. And money is an issue here to me right now. I have to take my daughter school clothes shopping at this time also, pay auto insurance on two autos, and home owners insurance is also do. I am married, but a stay at home Mom.
So I am trying my best.
But she has no registry! I asked my Mom. That's the problem.
Plus her wedding is a small wedding of about 24 guests.

  • I buy a fire extinquisher and a carbon monoxide detector. Most people don't have them and if they ever have to use them they will thank you for it bc some people won't buy them for themselves.
