Hair falling out? What's going on?

For the past few days, if I run my hand through my hair, I have a small clump of hair fall out. It's not a huge clump but it is enough for me to be concerned about. I had some hair loss right after my son was born and that was almost 6 years ago. I am only 28 years old, what could be wrong? Is it anything that I should be really concerned about and see a doctor?

  • Mine is doing the same.Stop putting your hair up if you do.I know how hard it is to not but the bun in lol..I also have to use different shampoos that help with damage...When the bathtub clogs my hubby tells me to toss the hair ties lol(THIS is just me..i dont assume EVERYone is dealing with it the same lol)

  • Stress? Diet changes? Those can both cause moderate hair loss. So can a recent weight loss.

  • Could also be a thyroid problem. I would talk to doc about it.
