  • It depends on how long the naps are. My son would take a morning nap for 45 minutes to an hour, which was around 8 am. Then he would nap again usually from 1 pm to 3 pm and then he would go to sleep for the entire night between 6 pm and 7 pm and not wake up until 6 am.

  • Whenever he's tired...My son was on a set schedule..he'd get up and eat and play for a bit and then take a good hour nap...then he would stay up until about 1 and sleep til 3 and stay awake until evening time and sleep around 7 or 8 but I have a newborn now and when she's tired I can usually tell so I let her make her own schedule. As she gets older i'll try to get her on a better schedule! Good luck!

  • If he sleeps alot at night he'll sleep less during the day. My daughter at seven months would sleep throught the night 9:30-6:30 then a nap about 8:30-9:30 then another nap about 11-1 and another nap about 4-5....she had always been more awake in the afternoons and evenings. But I think I heard that a child should get a total of 13-15 hours of sleep in 24 hours, reguardless of what kind of napping schedule they have.

  • my 7month old girl has 2-3 naps, normally round 8am then 1pm, depending on how long she sleeps for at the 1pm sleep she may have another at 4-4.30 then bed time is 6-6.30pm. i find it hard to get in a late afternoon sleep somtimes so i will try to drag her out till 9am then a 2pm of course that means i will have to stretch her feeds out to 5hrly now as well. its a bit of a guessing game ha! good luck.
