question about a blanket in the crib

I know that having a blanket in the crib is not safe and should not be done at all. She is eight months old and loves to cuddle. The problem is that she wil not go to sleep and will cry all night unless she has something to snuggle. She loves snuggling a blanket or even a shirt or pants. Any suggestions on what to do?

  • if you are going to use a blanket in the crib then use a receiving blanket. That is thin enough to still be able to breathe. My son has always had a blanket in his bed now that he is 1 he has a normal blanket that a friend made for us.
