i was told to use cortisone for my sons persistant diaper rash.....

we have done everything even brought him to the dr and used yeat meds nothing worked. so please dont give me ways to cure it.

i was told to use cortisone by a fellow mom and i got some last night and used it, thismorning it looks like the rash is almost gone! but i just looked it up online and it says that you should not use it for diaper rash? is it bad to use?

  • Talk to the pharmacist. I've used it on a regular rash before. The pharmacist said I should use the 5% versus the 10% and the cream instead of the ointment.

  • Its not supposed to be used "long term" as its very potent.
