  • Honestly if he cheated on you he is the wrong one. And no 50/50 is not good enough. He needs to relive what he did and you deserve something from this and being hurt.

  • I don't know how NJ laws are but in california, it's "no-fault" and it doesn't matter who cheated or leaves. My husband's wife of 25 years cheated and left him for another man. She never worked and the kids are all grown. He still has to pay her a huge alimony for the rest of her life and she has no intention of marrying her boyfriend because he hardly makes any $$$ (will lose the alimony if they marry). It's completely unfair from a moral standpoint but in California it doesn't matter - it's family law.
