When you put you children in time out, do you make them stand with their noses in the corner or do you let them sit in a chair facing the rest of the room? How do YOU do timeouts in your home and does it work?

  • I use time-out and my son is just placed in a specific chair. He does not like to be in time-out, so yes this has worked for us. It is not so much about how long he sits, but more about knowing if he does not listen the consequence of being in time-out.
