What are your experiences in having your child evalutated by a Developmental Pediatrician?

How long did you have to wait for the initial evaluation and how was it?

  • It took six months on a waiting list and the inital evaluation took over two hours. (He was very thorough in his testing) I was upset at all the things we found out, but we got a plan in action and they have made so much progress.

  • We had to wait a month, he was 19 months. It took about an hour and was disappointing as he failed the tests.

  • like.. the early start intervention kind of thing..
    idk if that;s what you went to..
    my son went through that.. they told me before i left that he was EXCELLENT in motor skills but he needs to work on his speech.. he was old enough to TRY to say something but he was just too quiet lol
