Need A New Vacuum!

Anyone have any suggestions on a tough, long lasting vacuum that wont put me in the poor house? It needs to be able to handle A LOT of pet hair. My old vacuum passed away yesterday =[

  • Yeah I looked at the Bissel Pet Vac, it's really pricey. Unfortunately I dont have too much to spend.

  • Okay....mine gave up the ghost here about 2 weeks ago. I have a German Shephard, so it's a must than I vaccuum AT LEAST once every day. I borrowed my mother-in-law's extra until I could get one. Big Lots had a factory reconditioned one that was only $55!!! It was originally $300!!! It's a bagless, and it picks up the pet hair like mad!! I'm very happy with it. It is the Eureka PetPal.

  • I just upgraded to the Bissell pet one and I really like it. The one I had before it was $70 at WalMart and works almost as well as the pet one. The pet one seems to have some more suction to it. Here is the one I had before and loved http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bissell-Powerforce-Turbo-Upright/4633929

  • Still havent decided. Im looking into the Bissel Cleanveiw Helix thats sold at Target for $80. But that is on the WAY HIGH side of my budget. So idk. Then again you get what you pay for most of the time, and all of the cheaper vacs got horrible reviews. *Sigh* why is this such a hard decision to make?! lol.
