  • Depends on what she is into. Gift cards are usually a safe bet.
My oldest turns 10 on Monday and I got her a DS game, some of those silly bandz, some charms for her bracelet and a zsuzsu pet (that is more of a little joke than anything). I also want to find her an address book to keep all her phone numbers in.

  • at 10, she'll have special interests... anything you can tell about her? what kind of music does she like? does she play sports? is she a girly girl or a tomboy??

  • Money and gift cards are always good, but I love giving a girl this age a journal and a special pen for writing her thoughts and experiences. It's something they can look back at later to remember how they felt at that age.

  • My daughter just turned 10 and I got her a sliver make-up case, filled with lotions, and body spray and hair junk and necklaces and all kinds of clair junk. I also got her this area rug at k-mart with peace signs on it---it is cool.
