3 Bumps

feeling pretty sick at the moment... help?? (may be tmi)

k, so... i am in my 9th month of pregnancy. for the past few days i have been vomiting and having diarrhea... it's getting pretty bad. gum helps a bit, but i'm not feeling the baby move much at all... think it's just a bug, or if it's something else? went to the DR on tuesday... asked them, they said to take some prevacid... it's not acid reflux.

  • at 37 weeks your baby is getting bigger and dosent have as much space to move as much.. so dont worry so much as long as you do feel her move... not sure about the sickness but make sure you drink lots and lots of fluids. when i was pregnant with my dd ( i was about 7 months) i got the flu and could keep nothing down. i had to stay at the hospital for 2 days and have an iv for fluids.

  • It could be your body ready for labor. how many weeks are you? i've heard of women getting diarrhea before giving birth. and when the hormones get so strong thats a possibility. I threw up while in labor with DS. Hopefully you get some relief soon!

  • Sounds like you are ready to have that baby soon and your body is preparing itself.
If you told the doctor's and they aren't to worried about it then you shouldn't worry either.
    Good Luck.
