Do you think your youger children are weirder than your older children?

My cousin has 5 wonderful children, but the older ones keep influencing the younger ones to do weird things. And I have lots of weird ideas (mustard is the devil) that I know are due to my older brother's influence. My oldest is pretty wacked (in an adorable way)- I am amused and terrified thinking about how she is going to mess with her little brother's mind. Anyone have similar thoughts?

  • lol! my kids are equally weird. but my oldest does love to manipulate her sister and make her think things are what they aren't.

  • I don't know... My older sister didn't really influence me. And my 4 yr old is weird in his own right, not counting my teenagers influence :) It's a good theory though...

  • My brother influenced me with lots of things regarding food. I got a lot of my food tastes from him, which I have since lost, thankfully because they were very unhealthy (dry ramen, chex mix, canned mushroom soup with grilled cheese). Haha. I'm sure I got a few non-food-related weird ideas from him too. He was 7 when I was born. Interesting question, but I'm not sure it's something to worry about. As parents, our weirdnesses and tastes affect our kids and siblings are no different. Your first child is weird (but wonderful) all on her own, and your second child would be weird all on his own too, but he will now just have some influences of weirdness from big sister. lol. We are all weird.
