  • My husband uses the BBQ brush and a cleaner and just scrubs it basically.

  • we just let it burn for a few minutes and scrub it with one of those wire brush things

  • Right after cooking on it, when it's nice and hot, I use a wire brush to scrape off all the baked on grease, and any "food left overs lost in the cooking process. Then when it's cool, I use Power Dissolver--works like a charm--just spray on, rinse off, no scrubbing! :o)

  • While it is still hot, we use one of those heat proof metal brush/scraper things to clean it. Then when it is cool wash with dish soap and warm water.

  • There are several ways to clean your grill...
    1. let pre cooked food cook off
    2. There is a BBQ cleaner that you can buy (similar to easy off oven cleaner) just follow directions
I always burn off and scrape a little before each use (which is daily in the summer) and before storing
for the winter I take it apart and scrub the whole thing out... (charcoal grill)

  • With a metal brush. I saw someone on TV say that it should be done right after the food is cooked so the sticky stuff falls into the heat and burns.
