Birthday party theme ideas for 3 year old boy/girl twins?

I'd like to come up with one theme that will please both of them or two themes that work together. He likes cars, trains, and dinosaurs. She likes reading, coloring/drawing, and fixing hair. They watch very little tv and videos, so they don't have favorite characters yet. We did a jungle theme for their 1st birthday and puppies for their 2nd birthday. Can you think of any themes that might be fun for both of them for their 3rd birthday?

Thanks!

  • Dr Suess might work. You could do the Cat in the Hat, and have Thing 1 and Thing 2 as a cake decoration.

  • Since it will be a memorable birthday for both of them you may want to go with a "prince" and "princess" theme. Little girls love the princess theme and it seems appropriate for a boys theme to go with a prince. You can get a variety of party things to fit this kind of theme. Each one can wear a crown/tiara. Only a suggestion tho.
