This may be a stupid question but what is "vote up" and how do you do it?

  • there is a + and - sign next to each member's answer box. you can vote up by +..and i guess vote down by -.

  • The "+" sign next to each answer is a Vote Up. Depending on your level, you get a certain amount of Votes Up each day. You can Vote Up answers that you find helpful, think do a good job answering the question, or enjoy reading.

    The "-" sign next to each answer is a Vote Down, only members that have finished level 10 will be able to Vote Down answers. Each member with the ability to Vote Down will only be given a few Votes Down each day. Members do not receive Credits when they Vote Down an answer but do receive 1 Credit when they Vote Up an answer. Votes Down should be used sparingly, like when someone is being rude (especially if it is an anon post), or says something that is objectively wrong (the capital of Paris is Brazil).
