  • My DR said its best to wait till they are 6 months old so their tummy can handle it but you technically can start as early as 4 months if you not worried about that.

  • My oldest was 7 months. His brother was almost a full year. It varies from child to child, depending on their needs in my mind... My lil one didn't need or want anything but breast til he was almost a year, while the oldest would have taken my food if I didn't start him!

  • When they wanted it. Mine never got pureed food and both started right on table food around 9-10 months old. Tried the pureed stuff with both about 6 months, but both refused so we followed what is called Baby led weaning and is popular more in the UK You really do need to wait until at least 6 months old to try though because their little bodies are not ready for it yet.

  • My daughter had been getting rice cereal in her bottles (per doctors orders) since about 3 months. We tried spoon feeding after 4 months, but we did not start any other foods until 6 months.
