Deleting questions takes points away?

So I am all for this new format here. But I wanted to delete some old questions, what's the point of a week old question being there anyways. And I loose points over it. What the heck? That's just dumb.

  • i hate it b/c i often delete my questions to edit them. i never seem to find all the mistakes until after ive posted. i guess it makes ppl think twice before they post...tho i doubt the trolls care about points.

  • I would have had 75 points today, but I posted a question anonymous and then realized that we did not get any credit for anon, so I deleted it and posted in non-anon. I lost 5 points. (I feel like such a failure) LOL!!!rolling on floor
