Do you prefer cats or dogs as pets?

I thought I wanted a dog until I doggy-sat my brother's dog and learned I am definitely NOT a "dog person." lol

  • As a pet I like cats, I had one dog and she was way more work then my 4 cats put together, and with a dog you cant just leave it home if you want to go out for a night or two because they need to be let out to do their business.

  • I've always love dogs and have wanted one, although at almost 23 I've not gotten my dog yet, lol. I'm ok with outdoor cats, but I'm not a huge cat person.

  • Dogs. They seem to care more if you are around, besides just to feed them. I have had one or two cool cats in my time (one's that acted more like dogs). After our current dog goes I won't want any. He is getting old and is ill and he is the best dog ever. He has spoiled me for any other animal.

  • Dog person! I can't stand cats..they are clingy creatures and kind of freak me out.

  • I don't think I'm either really. I'm an animal person. There are things I love about our cats and things I love about our dogs. I gues it just depends on my mood for that day.

  • We have both. I have three rottweilers that are all outside dogs and one kitten that lives indoors.
