Should I cut the skin off?

I stubbed my toe and from under my pinky toe nail back the skin is peeled back. Should I clip that skin off or just leave it alone? I would prefer to leave it alone but dh thinks I should take it off.

  • Oh your making me queezy! lol
If its pink/red skin (meaning blood is getting to the area)-No I would not cut it at all.
If its dead white skin (like the white skin on ur heels)- I guess you could if you wanted too...

  • just clip it off and cover it with a band aide with neosporin until it heals that way you won't get it snagged on something... Hope u feel better.

  • Leave it alone - it will take care of itself or let a Dr do it - you don't want to risk infection
