Beside barbeque sauce, what are other ways to cook pork ribs in a crock pot?

Mine turned out bad tonight. Any other receipes for pork ribs while omitting the barbeque sause disaster?

  • What I would do is check out RecipeZaar.com

They have recipes for EVERYTHING under the sun (and things you never thought of!) Plus you can search just ingredients and it will pull any recipe that has something to do with that ingredient. It's awesome, I use it all the time when I am trying to make something awesome!

  • Really, they came out bad? I usually use beer in the pot and then add bbq sauce, about an hour before it's done.

  • my mom typically just bakes the ribs in the oven rather than BBQing in a crockpot. Not sure if that would make a difference. Also maybe a different BBQ sauce may help..

otherwise I'm sorry :( I don't eat any pig, so I'm probably not much help :(
