thanks to all of those that haven't had their kids vaccinated!! The reason these diseases had disappeared is because of vaccinations! Now thanks to people not vaxing, it's an epidemic...thanks again :)

  • This is soo not worth arguing about. There is no definite link between vaccinations and autism.

Is there a chance the child might die from the vaccination because their body can't fight it off? Sure, but if they get the disease, it's going to happen anyways. Be thankful enough people vaccinate so your child isn't at such a high risk of the disease spreading in the first place.

  • Thats BS

If you child is vaccinated, you shouldn't have anything to worry about right? If they work like you say they do?

  • WHOOPS i meant how can you say this rise is from children NOT being vaccinated. Many people that are vaccinated against pertussis receive the disease still. Who is to say you would have gotten it if you didn't get the vax? No one.

  • uh. not being vaccinated does not mean that the children will die. LOL
in fact, nearly all of the "deadly" diseases can be easily cared for now that we have better understanding of the diseases and access to better health care.

  • either way you are taking a risk. the vaccines can kill your baby, or the whooping cough could kill your baby. the thing is, you can fight whooping cough, and you can take proper precautions from the start. But you can't "fight" a vaccine. once it's in your body you can't get rid of it.

  • . In 1976, Charles Manclark, an FDA scientist, remarked that "the DPT vaccine had one of the worst failure rates of any product submitted to the Division of Biologics for testing."

Between 1940 and 1955, it was noticed that children who had been recently injected with pertussis vaccine suffered paralytic polio at an increased frequency over those who had not received pertussis vaccine

Pertussis vaccine has a historical reputation for causing neurological damage in the human brain, ranging from very mild outwardly imperceptible damage which later manifests itself in more severe symptomology, to more severe brain damage, retardation or death. The vaccine can produce learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders and behavioral problems, and many reactions do not manifest themselves until later.

  • Yeah...Well that and basic manners :

Stay home when sick, cough into your elbow, wash hands !!!!

I would LOVE to see more people do these basic things. That alone would cut down on a lot of illness.

  • Actually, if you look at the history of vaccines and the diseases MOST of the diseases started to decrease substantially several YEARS before the vaccines were even introduced.

    What do i think?
I live in California and have two children who are no longer "up to date" on the vaccines and i'm not worried. :)

  • "What about the 10,000 percent increase in autism since the rise of vaccinations? "

10,000 percent increase? Autism isn't positively linked to vaccination... it's still just a theory with little to no evidence.
