would you give your 14 month old a popcicle?

I mean to hold and toddle around with on his own? my hubby says I am paranoid but I am worried that he isnt stable yet and could fall on the stick.

  • Not to walk around with and handle on his own, but if I was sitting there with my 14 month old helping them, then I don't see the big deal. You can also take it off the stick and put it in a bowl and let them use their fingers, that way you don't have to worry about the stick at all

  • I would, and have. Toddlers love popsicles - but it's an outside treat!

  • I give my son the slow melt mini popsicles. He loves them!

  • Only seated. I wouldn't give my little one any empty sweets, though. A Popsicle made of juice, maybe.

  • I would let any little kid walk around with it only because it has the potential to be nasty and messy. LOL
