  • About the beginning of August. I never have run into the 'out of stock' item frenzy. I hate having supplies sitting around cluttering the house. I buy them, label them, and pack the backpack that same day and then put it in the closet.

  • As soon as I get the list; I don't want to have to go to 10 stores to look for that one out of stock item.

  • We get a list maybe a month before school is out, and we buy it then. It's through school kidz. When the kids go for orientation day, the supplies will be there. I love it this way.

  • On the sales tax holiday in August. That's when they have all the great back to school specials too so I save a ton of money.

  • When the stores begin their back to school sales. I'm not paying $2 for a box of crayons that I can get for 25 cents if I just wait til closer to the beginning of the school year.
