  • with training wheels 2-3 and without training wheels around 4 my youngest learned quicker because he wanted to keep up with his big brother; my oldest took a little longer but we found out he has equilibrium problems so that was why

  • With training wheels, at age 2 when she got one for her birthday.
Without, still aren't there yet and she's 5 1/2. I'd give that one another year or two.

  • My LO's just learned this summer. They just turned 3 and 4. Of course, they still use training wheels. Maybe next summer we'll try taking them off and see how they do.

  • With training wheels, they were both 2.5.

DS learned to ride w/o training wheels at 5.5. DD just learned to ride w/o training wheels a couple of months ago and she will be 5 next week.

  • Mine got their bikes when they turned 3. My 6 year just took the training wheels off this summer!

  • My son turned 4 and a week later he was training wheel free! He was motivated from watching his sister and her friends ride all the time. My dd was 5. Though she has a friend who is almost 8 and she just is learning now and is very timid and unsure still.

  • without training wheels?
My oldest was a couple weeks shy of 8. My son was 6 1/2 (he learned the day before his sister).
My middle daughter was also 6 1/2. She learned last summer. Her friend taught her in 1 day without parental interference. I came out onto the porch to find her zipping up and down the street. I was so proud.
My oldest daughter has a friend that is turning 11 and still can't ride a 2 wheeler because she never spends time outside.
