  • I am not trying to be mean at all!!! But if you are a larger woman it can be harder to hear though the "fluff"

  • The doctor usually cant hear it that early. I"ve never been to an appointment at 8 wks where they even tried to hear it. My last baby, I asked about it & they said they can't always hear it so they dont usually try (at that office anyway)

  • I wasnt sure when my last period was so they gave me an u/s 3 weeks ago and said I was 5 weeks. I went for an appointment last monday for a F/u u/s because all they could see last wek was to sacs. So this time they saw two fetus's that should have been 8 weeks but they told me that they didnt grow they still looked like they were 6 weeks. Im cofused?? so they said their was no hear beats!!!

  • I wanted to add that with one of mine, they did a US at 5 wks & couldnt even see the baby just the sac & a pole. Even then, they said not to worry unless I started having pain or bleeding. She will be 5 yrs old in July, btw.
