What's your favorite recipe (not American)?

I love to cook foods from all over the world. And my husband loves to eat them. LOL I'm looking for some new ideas. Thanks!

  • Saurbratten (sp?) ( German, sour beef), I'm not sure how it's made exactly (my mom makes it for holidays), but I know the beef has to marinate (or "sour") for at least 3 days. She always serves it with spaetzel and asparagus.
