Can it really be that I'm fertile with such a tiny baby?(TMI)

I think I'm having fertile cervical fluid. I never noticed this so soon after my other two were born. Baby is almost 5 weeks old. Is this just something I didn't notice before? Did you notice fertily signs this soon, yourself?

  • It is possible. Every body is different, and the time it takes to become fertile after delivery can vary with each baby you have.

  • You could be. I know of two people that got pregnant 8 weeks and 12 weeks after their babies were born!

  • It is possible. . . my husband and his sister are 11 months apart and my cousin has girls that are 11 months apart.

  • If you are exclusively breastfeeding then it is very unlikely. If you are bottle feeding it is very possible!

  • I am exclusively breastfeeding, but my periods did return pretty fast (maybe three months) with the first two kids who were exclusively nursed, too. I'm not taking any chances. I just wondered if anyone else had noticed the same thing.
