little help please?

okay you can call me stupid but Im new to the site and I dont understand most of the abv yall use can someone fill me in Thanks :)

  • the common ones are DH= dear husband, SO =significant other, DS= dear son, DD= dear daughter, PIOG = posted in another group.

  • if you join the 'newcomers group' there is a post that contains all these common abbreviations. perhaps someone can supply the link..as i'm not a member of that group anymore.

  • DD - darling daughter
    DS - darling son
    DH - darling husband (or damn husband...depending on context)
    MIL - mother in law
    SIL - sister in law (or son in law)
    FIL - father in law
    BIL - brother in law
    DIL - daughter in law
    SS - step son
    SD - step daughter

    FD - foster daughter
    FS - foster son

    once you get one or two down, the rest start making sense. Almost everyone has trouble at first.

  • lowen - you don't have to get to a certain level to ASK anon. But, you do have to be level 15 to ANSWER anon.

    ttc- trying to conceive
    bf- breast feeding or could be boy friend depending on the context
    ff- formula feeding
    erf- extended rear facing for car seats
    ap- attachment parenting
