Another yoga question

If you do yoga, what accessories do you use? Like I see yoga blocks, resistance bands, straps and balls for sale. But do people really use these things? Just curious. I'm a noob to yoga.

  • I had classic hatha yoga. I used a towel or a rug on the floor. No accessories. If you hold a pose for 30 seconds, you are getting some resistance that way- muscle strength.

  • I just have a mat and a ball although I really dont use the ball. Just holding on to a pose like Bmat said will give you some resistance.

  • I only use a yoga strap and a folded blanket for inversions.

  • The blocks are good when you are just starting out. They give you the extra height to reach and balance.
