  • I belong to a long standing Bunco group .We have been together for about 10 years. Now every couple of months play other games.During the summer less people come so it is more of a girls night out dinner then movie. We asked friends in the beginning and wound up with 16.We meet once a month ,we each bring something to eat :heavy appetizer ,salad/casserole ,desert.Everyone brings what they wish.Sometimes it is all most all one type but it is fun.The hostess that month provides the paper goods ,a couple bring soft drinks and it is byob for wine.It has never been super organized at the end of the night we volunteer for drinks etc. for the next night and if you cant make it you call the hostess. On the rare time a hostess can't host someone has stepped up or out for a dinner and a movie. As all the kids got much older we changed it to a Fri night because a husband decided to organize a poker night for guys.Have fun

  • Is this for you and some friends or is this something you would like to do for the community as well? Also, what type of game night would you want? (cards, boardgames, computer games, video games) Can you give us some more details so we can answer with ideas that would apply to what you want to do?

  • Invite your friends and friends of friends......from church, PTA, work...wherever you socialize.....bunco is a fun game, and have everyone potluck it! When you get a good network of women coming out, then start rotating houses, so your not always the one hosting. It gets people to get to know each other! Have fun!

  • It's a dice game. You basically roll dice and try to get whatever number your on...so if your on 1's you try to roll 1's....people get excited, have fun, eat, win prizes and enjoy each other's company! :)
