Does such a product exist...?

Is there some sort of comfortable place to lay down a toddler if they fall asleep in an outdoor situation? Like even a really contoured chair? DD fell asleep by the pool one day and I just laid her on a towel. She was fine and stayed asleep, but I wish I had a more comfortable place. Went to drum circle tonight and after she fell asleep it would have been nice to have a place to lay her aside from the ground so I could drum instead of leaving like we did. Just wondering, google searches with various terms have turned up nadda.

  • Do you mean like a blow up kinda bed? I have seen those where you can blow them up and they have a sleeping bag attached usually with cartoon character themed. I suppose if your car is big enough you could put one of those fold out chairs they have in the toy section at WM or Target again cartoon themed and I believe the chair form is around $20?

  • I would rather leave and take my child home. So I don't know if there is anything out there like that.

  • We are pretty outdoorsey people, I wouldn't like to go home everytime she takes a nap in the day. That would usually mean she is just sleeping in the carseat, so I don't see the difference between driving home and staying and relaxing.

The pool is my parents pool, she was far from the edge laying on the towel asleep in the shade and I never left her. IDK what was unsafe about it.

I will look up blow-up bed!
