How do you feel about the Atheist ad that went up on Billy Graham Parkway?

The ad shows an American flag and quotes the Pledge of Allegiance as it was originally written before the words "under God" were added in 1954.

  • Honestly, if I saw the billboard I'm not sure I ever would've thought "An atheist billboard!".

No need to get all touchy about it.

  • This nation is under God

This nation is founded on freedom of religion - even the ones you don't like. Religion has no place in government, including defining it.

  • I would love to see the pledge go back to how it was originally, and I'm not an atheist, so I love the idea of that billboard :)

  • Where exactly did Jesus say it's ok to vandalize someone else's property to get the word out?

  • See, I'm a Christian.... but a lynch mob is going to come along any minute and beat me up... because it's not fair to force ourselves on people. I don't want us to be in power, because the next thing that happens is another religion takes over, and then I'm having to put up with things like say, Shariah law....
