Was anyone else disappointed in the movie version of my sister's keeper?

It took away the entire point of the book!

  • I haven't seen it. I had to read the book for a class in college. Not something I'd normally read, just b/c I've read another of her books and they just seem too intentionally controversial and manipulative.

  • I haven't read the book, but I really liked the movie. It was really sad! I'd like to read the book, but I hate reading the book AFTER the movie. I like to read the book first. I don't know if I've ever seen a movie that was as good as the book version.

  • I think the book is so much sadder! The movie changed so much. Entire story lines and characters.
