Does anyone just use a rag?

I see so many commercials where someone spills something, and they get out the antbacterial wipes or like 409! I just use a wet washcloth for spills unless its from blood from meat etc.

  • I use whatever is handy and what is necessary for the spill.

I am not against using my own shirt, or a dirty piece of clothing that is nearby. (most spills are in the living room near the changing table where I also change the babies... sometimes there are dirty clothes there)

  • I use rags... if it requires spraying i use a bleach and water mix. ive been really trying to cut costs so i keep a bunch of rags under the sink and just use a bleach and water mix for most cleaning.
Keep dirty rags in a seperate container by washer for their own wash.

  • I use washcloths or towels or papertowels or a wet one. Whatever is handy at that moment.

  • If it isn't germy or sticky, yes I just use a rag or towel. If it's germy or sticky then I use paper towels and whatever cleaner I grab first, usually just an all purpose one.

  • Usually I use washcloths. I have a whole stack that we use just for cleaning up spills and such.

  • If it's not bloody or something like that, I'll just use a paper towel if it's small enough or a rag if it's a bigger spill. If it's blood or something nasty and germy, I'll use the windex w/amonia which kills the germs then spray the counter w/lysol afterwards.

  • I typically use my rag towels for things, but sometimes I use paper towels if it is something really nasty.
