Did you save your child's first baby tooth?

My 5 year old DD lost her first tooth today. I want to save it - I'd love to put it in her baby book to keep it safe but her father took it several years ago when he left and refuses to return it...I have no idea why. Anyway I was just wondering how many other moms saved their child's first tooth.

  • My mom saved our teeth. Just make sure your kid doesn't find it before they learn that you are the tooth fairy. It's a sad way to learn. :-(

  • yeah, i have it. have no clue where it is though...LOL, in a small box somewhere. It will show up one day. Her dad has a lot of her baby stuff though & it breaks my heart. He refuses to give me any of her baby pics that I TOOK WITH MY CAMERA. It breaks my heart that i have no baby pics of her anymore :~(

  • I saved all my son's that I got. I put them on cotton balls in a tiny little container. I still have them and he is grown.
