When did you get rid of your baby's swing?

  • when they were right around 5 or 6 months old. Once they learn to crawl, they probably won't be satisfied with a swing anymore. :-)

  • I don't remember the age, but once the swing would slow down from his weight. I think it was around 5 or 6 months...

  • I just got rid of mine when baby hit 12 months. She would still nap in it occasionally until then. She is on the small side though, just 18 lbs at 12 mos. She didn't start crawling until 11 mos.

  • My older daughter never actually had one. My younger daughter is still in NICU and hasn't used hers. We'll be keeping it around, at least in the attic, until we are done having kids.
