Do you vote regularly in local elections?

I would like to say that I do, but I usually get busy and forget.

  • MamaZogga, there could be many things to vote on depending on where you live. Taxes, school levies, libraries, city council, mayor, school board etc. Just a few I could think of.

Most cities you can vote by mail. They will automatically send you a notice in the mail asking if you want to vote in the next election. If you respond with a yes, then send it. I love it. I don't have to rush to vote and stand in a long line.

Usually your local news will notify you of upcoming elections.

  • I'm 30weeks pregnant, chasing a 3 year old 24/7 ... If I get free time, I'm gonna spend it soaking in the tub...not voting. Besides, I don't know how much longer I'll live in the area, why would I vote for local stuff!?

  • Most every time. However, it is frustrating to have to go searching for the info. It definitely isn't covered like I think that it should be.
