  • I kicked some dinner butt tonight. It's clean out the fridge night...always challenging, and I had leftover steak! The Kryptonite of leftover chefs everywhere! I also had leftover steamed potatoes and grilled corn...

    so I boiled some water, added some Bisto (english gravy mix) and tossed in the steak, sauteed the corn in some butter and garlic and threw in the last of the grated parm. I sauteed the potatoes in a pan first, emptied it into a serving bowl, and threw in the butter, garlic, and corn. OMG.

  • Grilled fish, grilled potatoes (can't wait, trying something new!), steamed broccoli, if I have time to clean them some sugar snap peas, and maybe another veggie, and kiwi. Maybe a brownie for whoever cleans their plate and wants one.

  • We're having homemade chicken lo mein (though there is very little chicken and a whole lot of vegetables, LOL).

  • Take-out! Don't know where from yet but my sister, niece, cousin and his gf are coming over so I really don't wanna cook...lol

  • blast, I hate not being able to edit... I served the sliced steak on leftover hard rolls. There are two left each time we buy them, and I toss those in the freezer.

  • My husband won the services of a personal chef at a silent auction. The chef is cooking tonight so I have absolutely no idea what we are eating. Last time she cooked the kids all balked and refused to eat . . . let's hope tonight is better!
