  • The reason for why I pay 10-15 an hour is this:
If the sitter is a great sitter and my kids love her to pieces, it is worth it for my peace of mind. Any sitter I use is CPR/First Aid Certified. Also really good sitters are EXTREMELY hard to find, so when I do find one, I am willing to pay more, because I know she is most likely going to change her schedule around if I need something last min because she knows not only will I pay her, but I pay well. So it is a win/win situation for both of us. Also with 3 kids, is only $5 per child, per hour which is below min. wage...

  • I wouldn't trust anyone but family these days to watch my toddler or kids...I would say around 10 bucks an hour though.

  • 5 dollars an hour. But i always tip her too. I usually give her at least 5 dollars more just because i think she's great!. If she watches them for an hour she gets 10 dollars. 3 hours she gets 20.

  • I don't have kids yet so I don't have an answer that way. But when I babysit, I get between $14.50-$15.00 an hour.

  • I charge my sister $50 a week. She provides food for her son. If she goes out at night its between $10-$20 depends on where she is going and how long she is gone.
