  • This brings to mind a Quaker hymn that I know- They'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love. Oh they'll know we are Christians by our love.

  • I'm not sure. They'd probably be able to tell I'm a Christian because I wear my cross necklace a lot - and I do agree with Bmat's answer about knowing we are His by our love, but I believe that could be said of any faith, that love is a sign of holiness whatever religion you prescribe to, its not something found only within Christianity...
(not that I'm trying to argue. lol, cause I've always used that line, about knowing we are His by our love, I was just thinking about the question, and in the context of whether or not love would automatically make people think Christian started to make me think. Sure, most people would assume it probably, but we would hope a follower of any religion would be known for their love) :)

  • Nope. In most cases people assume I'm Christian. So I guess that means I blend in well with crowds.

  • I don't know, I've never asked anyone what they thought I was. I don't go around preaching, I just try to practice... though like all humans I am imperfect so I guess it depends on the day really. I am sure that I do things that people may click their tongues at and say how sinful I am, alas I am perfectly imperfect just as God made me. I have moments when I shine, and moments when I ... well when I don't!

  • not sure, I don't advertise that I'm an atheist.. but I'm sure in certain situations they'd be able to find out based on your reactions to things.

Nothing against your blending skills, but I've noticed most people automatically assume everyone is Christian, to the point of some being offended whey they find out they assumed wrong.

  • I think people assume I am not a Christian...but that has more to do with the way I dress or the fact that I ALWAYS wear black ;)
not based on how I act -unless I am swearing

  • I don't know most people think my little sister is a pagan. I think they're assuming things based on how we dress. My sister likes stores like Hot Topic so more goth/punk/alternative and I like a more classic/conservative look with solid colors and oxford shirts over tank tops. My sister is Christian and I'm Atheist.
