I am wanting to go back to school but am leery of these places. However, they have the criminal justice programs that I want. Any experience would be helpful. Thanks!

I would suggest Columbia College of Missouri. http://www.ccis.edu/ It is a state college and the tuition is the best I have seen for an online program. I am majoring in Criminal Justice as well and I will be taking a few classes from them in the Spring due to scheduling conflicts with my school. What area do you want to go into in the Criminal Justice field?

Once I finish my degree I want to be a Probation Officer. I am toying with the idea of going to police academy while I am in school but I have not decided yet. I had thought about paralegal, however, there aren't many paralegal jobs in my area.

Look at Liberty University. They have an online program for Criminal Justice. However, when you graduate from there your degree will just say Liberty University so no one will know whether you were an online or residential student. To look at their online programs go to http://www.luonline.com; to look at their website in general go to http://www.liberty.edu.
