  • Mine was different. My first pregnancy, I didn't have the contractons across the front of my stomach. I only had back labor. For my last one, I had both types.

  • I'm beginning to think I can't tell a contraction from indigestion/stomach aches! :/

  • it was about the same. although baby #3 went a lot smoother for me because I got the epi BEFORE I let them give me pitocin! ;) LOL plus by she came along, I new what was going on and dealt with it much better than the previous 2.

  • I never had natural contractions with my DD, so I'm not sure. I did have preterm labor with both my children, and with DD I never once felt it. At one point my contractions were 3 min apart and I still never felt a thing. With this baby, I've had regular painful contractions since 32 weeks when I started having preterm labor. I'm actually starting to get used to them, so I'm not sure how labor will be comparatively.

Unless I'm induced with this baby as well, I'll have no basis for comparison.
